We charge no upfront fees at all for making introductions for the sale or purchase of a law firm – our fees apply only when a successful transaction occurs – both parties pay a success fee dependent on the size of the business – and payment can be in monthly instalments. There are no fees unless a successful sale or purchase is achieved.

Valuations are best done by your accountants when anyone is ready to consider purchasing your firm, but usually it is a fairly straightforward process – turnover, net profit, number and type of ongoing files and value of assets including will banks. The price anyone else will pay varies widely according to the practice in question.. – the location, the assets, the types of law covered, the number of staff etc.. We think it unlikely that any upfront fee services can adequately predict what this will be and believe that making a payment before anyone has actually indicated an interest in buying your law firm is very risky indeed, particularly when the fee is £2,500 plus VAT or more.
