A very well established firm is looking for an employment lawyer to work out of their Cheadle Hulme office. The firm has an existing caseload of claimant employment work via links to a trade union and they need someone who can “hit the ground running” and take over the caseload without needing training. The role will initially be on a 6 month fixed term contract but almost certainly will go permanent at the end of the 6 months if desired. Currently the firm’s employees are working from home but after Covid measures the role can be 50% in office and 50% from home if preferred. Firm happy to consider solicitors, legal executives or even very experienced paralegals as long as there is the experience and expertise to manage a caseload without supervision. The role will be full-time and salary levels around the 35k mark.
