Personal Injury Solicitor and Paralegal in Central London Claimant and Defendant

A set of three new personal injury vacancies have arisen with a firm situated in Central (ish) London. I should start by saying that we do not think the salary ranges given are particularly competitive, particularly for post 2.

Job spec for post 1:
Responsibilities and key skills:
The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Claims Handling and have familiarity with the MOJ Claims Portal, A large part of the role will involve undertaking settlement of RTA motor claims and Credit Hire experience is essential. It would also be beneficial to have experience in other areas of personal injury like employers and public liability claims. The successful candidate would also have had exposure to litigated cases. You will be responsible for handling your own case load with minimal supervision. The role involves meeting set Billing targets and may be required to assist senior fee earners with tasks. As part of your role you may be asked to support marketing and business development activity within the team.
IT literate with good knowledge of Word and Excel. Knowledge/previous experience of a case management system is also essential as are good keyboard skills

Job spec for post 2:
Responsibilities and key skills:
The candidate would have had a number of years of Fee Earning experience in pre and post litigated cases within the Fast Track and Multi Track. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and be looked upon to lead an already well established Personal Injury Department and take over a caseload of pre and post litigated cases from a Senior Solicitor.
There will be familiarity with the MOJ Claims Portal, for RTA/EL/PL and clinical negligence work.
You will be responsible for handling your own case load with very minimal supervision. The role involves meeting set Billing targets and you may be asked to support marketing and business development activity within the team.
IT literate with good knowledge of Word and Excel. Knowledge/previous experience of a case management system is also essential
Level: Solicitor/ILEX qualified

Job Spec for post 3:
Responsibilities and key skills:
The candidate would have had previous experience in claims handling ideally in Defendant work and for at least 3 years (preferable although not essential). The successful candidate will have experience in dealing with high volume of cases.
You will be responsible for handling your own case load with minimal supervision. Knowledge of the CPR and litigated work is preferred.
IT literate with good knowledge of Word and Excel. Knowledge/previous experience of a case management system is also essential as are good keyboard skills
Graduate entry post.
